MURDER IN HENDERSON: Death of 60-Year-Old Woman Investigated as HOMICIDE

The death of a 60-year-old woman in Henderson, Nevada is being investigated as a homicide.

On June 16, officers were called to a medical emergency in the 2800 block of 3500 East Henderson Boulevard. When they arrived they found the woman deceased.

Detectives with the North Las Vegas Police Department Criminal Investigations Division have now determined that the victim was previously reported missing by her family. The body was later found in a residential neighborhood and the investigation revealed the suspect to be her neighbor, 48-year-old Murrell Edmonston of North Las Vegas.

Edmonston was arrested Thursday by Detectives and transported to the Clark County Detention Center, where he is facing a charge of Murder in the 2nd Degree. He is being held without bail.
